Troop of 552 Brigade under the 55 Division, declared open the renovated public bus stand at Kilali village during a simple ceremony on Friday (19).
Bus commuters in the area had to face harsh weather conditions and had no place for shelter while waiting for a bus. This hardship was observed by troops of 23 Gamunu Watch (GW) who volunteered to do this community project pocketing out their own money.
Brigade commander, 552 Brigade as the chief guest accompanied by commanding officer 23 GW, villagers participated for this occasion.
