Troops Raid Cannabis Cultivation

20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops of the 121 Brigade under the 12 Division on Monday (20) on information raided a cultivation of Cannabis in a 40- perch land plot in the general area of Kuda Oya and informed the local Police.

The raid was carried out on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding, 12 Division, Major General Prasanna Ranawaka and the operation was done under the close supervision of the Brigade Commander, Brigadier Udaya Serasinghe.

The Kuda Oya Police are conducting investigations.
