Preparation of the school ground, provision of judges and decorative items, supply of drinking water, seating arrangements and medical facilities and donation of stocks of books and school accessories as gifts by the Army troops of the 30 Sri Lanka National Guard of the 643 Brigade, facilitated the conduct of the sports meet at Muthiyankaddukulam, (left bank) Government’s Tamil Mixed School on January 30.
Troops also provided gifts that can be distributed among children between 7-17 years, participating in 93 sports events in the Meet. The value of gift parcels provided by the troops exceeded Rs 75,000/=.
Supporters of the Army as well as all ranks in the Army serving the 30 Sri Lanka National Guard of 643 Brigade contributed to the success of this Sports Meet of this school.
