144 Infantry Brigade troops of the 14 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ- West using their own resources offered a delicious lunch and essentials to the adults and children at the Salvation Army-managed Elders' Home on account of 'Vesak' festival on 04 May 2023.
During the project, troops provided a delicious lunch treat to 45 adults and 30 children residing at the Salvation Army - Elders' Home, including its staff members.
On the same occasion, troops as incentives for education distributed school stationery and accessories among 21 children, being cared by the Salvation Army at the same venue.
The Commanding Officers and Other Ranks of the 144 Infantry Brigade under the guidance of their Brigade Commander made all arrangements to this effect in coordination with the staff at this Elders' Home.
The management of the charity home praised the troops for their thoughtfulness, dedication and generosity.
