To foster and enhance the spirit of cooperation, comradeship among the troops participating in the Mithra Shakthi Exercise, a friendly volleyball match was held with the participation of two teams included with troops from both Sri Lanka and India.
After an intense tussle, team ‘A,’ led by Major D.M.S.H. Disanayaka, emerged victorious, securing the championship pushing the team 'B' to the runner-up position in 2-1.
The Director of the Mithra Shakthi Exercise, Major General U.K.D.D.P. Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, extended his congratulations to the winners for their outstanding performance and awarded trophies and certificates for winning team. Indian trooper Lance Nayik Sonu Khan was awarded as the Best Player in recognition of his exceptional skills in match.
The evening was colured in a vibrant and spectacular fire show, displaying a variety of performances of troops from both nations, who demonstrated their diverse talents and skills.
The Director of the Mithra Shakthi Exercise, Senior Officers, and Other Ranks attended the event.
