The troops of the 5th Sri Lankan Combat Convoy Company (CCC) engaged in peacekeeping duties of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission (MINUSMA) in the State of Mali joined celebrations of the 74th Army Day at Gao Super Camp on 10 October 2023.
The celebrations were organized under the guidelines provided by Army Headquarters and Colonel W.W.N.P Wickramaarachchi, Contingent Commander of 5 CCC graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Troops gathered and hoisted the flags and the Army anthem was recited by the audience. Soon after, the message of the Commander of the Army was read in front of the gathering. Further, a cultural show and an All-Rank dinner culminated the day’s agenda.
