The 233 Brigade in collaboration with the Foundation of Lions Club in Batticaloa and Alcami Heavy Metal Private Limited organized a donation programme for Grade 5 students in Kunjankulam, Madurankenikulam and Kirimatiyana areas on Thursday (12).
A total of 27 students who are going to sit for the Grade 5 scholarship examination received book packs, a laptop, a multi-media projector and free internet connections under the project.
On a concept of the Commander Security Force East Major General Channa Weerasuriya, the General Officer Commanding 23 Division Major General Nalin Koswaththa and Commander - 233 Brigade Colonel Wasantha Hewage coordinated the event.
