Troops of the 16 (v) Gemunu Watch in combination with Military Intelligence troops of the 513 Brigade upon receipt of information conducted clearing operations in the general area of Puliyanthuraii and recovered 55.4 kg (26 packs) of Kerala Ganja (Cannabis), stacked in packs, kept hidden inside shrubs along Puliyanthurai coastal belt.
Cannabis packs thus found were handed over to the Wadukkodai Police station for onward investigations.
