2 Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops of the 221 Brigade and the 22 Division troops under the Security Force HQ- East in coordination with the office of the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) for Trincomalee supported a mobile house to house inspection for Dengue mosquito breeding grounds covering the Maniyaveli Grama Niladari sector on Monday (13).
With the onset of the rainy season, Major General Rasika Fernando, Commander Security Forces – East, together with Major General Athula Marasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 22 Division instructed the troops to lend their helping hand during the inspection project.
During this programme, 05 households were identified as having Dengue breeding places inside their compounds. Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) and Policemen however warned them and were to prosecute those residents.
PHIs in the MOH office at Trincomalee along with Assistant PHIs and a few Policemen joined hands together to complete the project during the day. Authentic Nike Sneakers | Shop: Nike
