Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops serving Kambiliwewa area under No 5 Buddangala Grama Niladari sector contributed their labour to roof-thatching work in the housing complex at Kambiliwewa with upcoming 55 new houses.
National Housing Development Authority under its 1 million house construction projects has set apart construction of 55 new houses to that area in the Padaviya Divisional Secretariat area.
Those authorities sought the assistance of Army troops for implementation of roof-thatching work in the ongoing project. The project is situated in the 623 Brigade area under the 62 Division Headquarters.
