Troops Enable Two Kids at QCs to Have Their B'Days in a Surprise Move

Amid strict health safety guidelines against the transmission of COVID-19, a simple birthday bash of two kids got underway at the Elephant Pass (Alimankada) Quarantine Centre (QC), following support given by Army troops working in the QC.

Elephant Pass QC is currently quarantining about 100 individuals brought down from Keselwatte, Maradana area after positive cases were detected. Among them are the kids whose birthdays fell on 4 May and 6 May 2020 respectively but their unexpected stay at a QC shattered their hopes for conduct of a birthday party like in previous years.

Informed of their forthcoming birthdays, Army troops with the consent of their parents organized birth day cakes for both of them and enabled them to celebrate the day with available resources inside the QC while keeping social distancing. Parents thanked the troops for their concern and kindness. Buy Kicks | GOLF NIKE SHOES
