More than 113 officers and other ranks serving the 221 Brigade in Vavuniya donated blood for use of patients at Vavuniya Hospital during an arrangement at Provincial Hospital - Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Wednesday (23).
At the request of the Blood Bank of Vavuniya Hospital, the programme was organized under the guidance of Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W and with the support of medical officers of the Vavuniya Blood Bank.
The event was coordinated by Civil Coordination Officer. Many officers and other ranks participated in the campaign.
