Troops at Diyatalawa SLAVF Training School Learn about Challenges in Life

More than 125 All Ranks, including Officers at Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) Training School at Diyatalwa on Tuesday (12) listened to a lecture on 'Imaginations & Attitudes in Life' delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Samanthi Bandara.

The guidance and direction of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army enabled the Directorate of Psychological Operations to hold a workshop for promotion of the mental well-being of Officers and Other Ranks training at the SLAVF Training School.

The joint arrangement, made by the Directorate of Psychological Operations and the Directorate of Training at the Army HQ explained how challenges and problems in life could be challenged and overcome. Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander Security Forces - Central extending his blessings on the project closely coordinated the event.

A question-answer session towards the end of the day's programme too educated the attendees after inspiring them in different perspectives.

Meanwhile, the same lecture was conducted for the troops at 8 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on Monday (11) at Beragala Army camp. trace affiliate link | シューズ
