Troops Disinfect Kilinochchi Schools Against COVID-19

65 Division troops before scheduled reopening of schools in Kilinochchi District carried out a programme to disinfect several schools against the spread of COVID-19 epidemic on Sunday (12).

The Project covered Kilinochchi Skandapuram Government’s Tamil Mixed School, Palinagar Kumarswamy Government’s Tamil Mixed School, Kollavilankulam Government’s Tamil Mixed School and Palinagar Maha Vidyalaya where more than 4000 students are expected to begin their studies.

10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regiment troops and 20 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) troops separately visited those schools and disinfected all the classrooms and school premises.
