7 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) troops under command to the 233 Brigade of the 23 Division of the Security Force HQ-East facilitated the donation of dry ration packs, worth about Rs 100, 200/= to the Dimbulagala Aranya Senasanaya and Aralaganwila Ariyadhamma Aranya Senasanaya monasteries on Sunday (19).
Mr Panduka Pathmaperuma and his group sponsored the supply of those dry rations at the request of the Commanding Officer, 7 SLA, Lieutenant Colonel Priyanatha Karawita.
Adhering to health guidelines, the stocks were delivered to both monasteries by Colonel Wasantha Hewage, Commander, 233 Brigade along with Mr Panduka Pathmaperuma and his group, including Mr W.L.S Wickramasinghe, Mr W.A.S.P Hettiarachchi, Miss Tharini Devi, Mrs W.S.S.P Wickramasinghe, Mrs W.S.S.S Wickramasinghe, Mr W.S.S.D Wickramasinghe and Mr P.D Thusitha Kumarasiri.
