Troops Build One More New House for Widow with four Children

Mullaittivu District - based Mrs K. Yogeshwari of Mullivaikkal East, a widow with four children received the keys to a new house, built by the Army using its own resources and labour during a simple ceremony on Saturday (30). 

Troops of 68 Division of the Security Forces Headquarters – Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) took the initiative in this regard on the directions of Major General L.B.R Mark, Commander, SFHQ-MLT.

Meanwhile, Major General L.B.R Mark laid the cornerstone of the new house for widow Mrs. A Prasad Sharmila with two children.   

Mrs Son Heeli Piyao Shenhavie and Mrs Bak Mi Yon, both from South Korea, Mrs Mary Kamala Gunaseelan, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Provincial Councillor of the Northern Provincial Council, senior officers and villagers took part in the event.

Major General Mark as the Chief Guest on the occasion handed over the keys to the recipient of the house.
