A Guard Turnout saluted the outgoing Major General Ranjan Premalal, Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) who relinquished his appointment as the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) for retirement during a formal farewell, held at the, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Headquarters at Polhengoda on Saturday (31).
Troops of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police presented the Guard Turnout at the entrance and a Guard of Honour to bid farewell to the outgoing Colonel Commandant of the SLCMP. All Officers of the HQ- SLCMP were present to witness the farewell ceremony.
Later, addressing the troops of the SLCMP, the outgoing Major General Ranjan Premalal thanked All Ranks for the generous assistance and co-operation extended to him during his tenure.
Before his departure, he was awarded mementos bringing the day’s event to end.
