The 6th Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) of the 221 Brigade under the 22 Division in the SFHQ-East organized an educational seminar with the assistance of Zonal Education Department of Eastern Province for GCE O/L students of Vivekananda Vidyalaya in Kuchchaweli Divisional Secretariat on Sunday (22).
Under the supervision and instructions of Zonal Educational Department of Eastern Province, the Seminar was successfully conducted. A total of 247 candidates participated where lectures on English, Mathematics and Science subjects were held.
Mr. MPA Nisham, Zonal Education Director, Eastern Province attended the occasion as the Chief Guest and the Commanding Officer and the Second in Command of the 6 VIR also participated in the inaugural event.
