Troops also Join Blood Donation at Welikanda

By responding to a request made by Ven. Serupitiye Ananda Thero, the Chief Incumbent at Monarathenna Temple, troops of the Security Force Headquarters-East volunteered to donate blood for the benefit of needy patients in Welikanda hospital on Sunday (23) at Monarathanna Temple, Welikanda.

Major General Channa Weerasuriya, Commander Security Forces-East after giving guidelines for the project instructed troops to participate in this worthy cause. Medical Officers from Central Blood Bank Narahenpita assisted the project.
