Troops of 8 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Successfully Extinguish Wildfire

Under the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of 61 Infantry Division, troops of 8 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) swiftly responded to a wildfire that broke out in Siyabalapitiya area on 20 March 2024. The operation, conducted under the supervision of Major M.P.S.R Marasinghe RWP RSP Lsc, the Commanding Officer of 8 SLSR.

The troops of 8 SLSR successfully extinguished the wildfire, preventing further spread and safeguarding the surrounding areas.
