Troops of 56 Infantry Division Conducts a Blood Donation Campaign

To mark the 75th Anniversary of the Army, the 56 Infantry Division organized a blood donation campaign on 3 September 2024 at the Division Headquarters.

The initiative was conducted under the guidence of Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division. A total of 07 Officers and 134 Other Ranks participated by donating blood, aimed at replenishing the blood supply at the General Hospital Blood Bank in Vavuniya.
