The troops of 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment (GR) restored the tank bund of Maradanmaduwa tank at Kapugollewa which was slightly damaged due to adverse weather conditions on 28 November 2024 using sand bags.
The prompt action was taken by the troops of 5 (V) GR under the guidance of Major General W.M.S.C.K Wanasinghe RSP USP, General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, with the supervision of Commander 211 Infantry Brigade and Commanding Officer of 5(V) GR.
