Under the guidance of the Commander of the 213 Infantry Brigade and the Commanding Officer of the 5 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG), the troops of the 5 SLNG organized a book donation programme on 04 October 2024 at Wimalaghana Maha Vidyalaya, Thanthirimale.
During the programme, exercise books, stationery items, and gift vouchers worth Rs 3,000.00 from DSI were distributed among 100 students from low-income families. The event was sponsored by the Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine (SLCOMM).
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, teachers, parents, and students attended the programme.
