Under the guidance of Brigadier L.S.D.N Pathiratne RSP USP, Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, troops distributed repaired musical instruments to Ampara Dhammaratha Sinhala School, in Akkaraipaththuwa area on 31 May 2024.
The school's musical instruments, primarily used in the drama section, had become unserviceable after long use. Upon the principal's request, troops of the Brigade repaired the instruments with the support of the leading musical instrument manufacturing institute, Sri Madura in Matara.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
