Troops of the 24 Infantry Division undertook a community-oriented project at the ‘Buddhangala Temple’ prior to the upcoming Poson Poya Day with the aim of removing debris and dirt accumulated at the temple complex on 19 June 2024.
Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division supervised the project.
A team of 1 x 30 troops from the 24 Infantry Division took part in this project to upkeep the cleanliness of the temple to provide a conductive environment for devotees to worship and meditate.
