The Office of the Regional Director of Health Services – Kilinochchi organized a public awareness walk against cancer from Palayi Primary Hospital to the Divisional Secretary's Office in Pachcha, Palayi on 16 October 2024.
Representing the Sri Lanka Army, troops from the 23rd Battalion of the Gemunu Watch participated in the walk alongside other government organizations.
The battalion also arranged a drinking water station for the participants.
The participation of the troops and other logistical arrangements were made under the guidance of the Commander of the 522 Infantry Brigade, under command to the 52 Infantry Division.
