Troops of 23 Infantry Division Engaged in Flood Relief Operations

Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding of 23 Infantry Division, Major General W.P. Kariyawasam, troops of the 23 Infantry Division were deployed to assist victims of severe flooding in areas of Polonnaruwa and Batticaloa districts. The floods, triggered by adverse weather conditions, led to widespread damage. The troops were actively engaged in rescue operations and providing disaster relief to affected communities.
