Troops of 21 Infantry Division Extend Support to 'Santhisewana' Elderly Home

With the aim of providing personal grooming services to enhance the wellbeing and comfort of the elderly residents at the ‘Santhisewana’ elderly home in Saliyapura, the troops of the 21 Infantry Division organized a hair-cutting programme for the inmates on 18 May 2024.

Additionally, under the guidance of Major General H.H.K.S.S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division, the troops provided a delicious lunch for the inmates of the ‘Santhisewana’ elderly home on 20 May 2024.

The programme culminated successfully with an entertainment session conducted by the Army Calypso Team, bringing smiles and lively entertainment to the elderly citizens. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Division also took part in the event.
