Troops of 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of 21 Infantry Division under command to Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ- Wanni) extending their welfare projects further, built another new house for a deserving family at No. 54 Hirallugama, Padikgama, Medawachchiya with the generous sponsorship of Mr. Rathna Hapangama who is presently based in United States of America.
The newly built house was vested in the beneficiary on 17 February 2024 during a simple ceremony by Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu Commander - Security Force (Wanni).
The troops extending their manpower and technical expertise launched the project at the request of Mrs M.C Malawiarachchi Divisional Secretary Medawachchiya.
Major General H.H.K.S.S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division, Brigade Commander of 213 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and residents in the area participated in the event.
