Troops of the 2 (V) Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, operating under the 221 Infantry Brigade, conducted a Trincomalee Hospital Beach Cleanup Programme on 20th March 2025.
The beach cleanup programme aimed to protect the shores, preserve marine life and promote a cleaner, greener future.
The initiate was conducted under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division.
The Commanding Officer, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks actively participated in the event.
