Under the guidance of Major General K.A.U. Kodithuwakku RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division, troops conducted multiple cleaning programmes in line with the 75th Army Anniversary.
On 9 October 2024, troops of 11 Infantry Division cleaned the Central Province Ayurvedic Hospital in Kundasale, while troops from 111 Infantry Brigade tidied the Inguruwatta Primary School playground, and 5 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) assisted with cleaning around the Theldeniya District Hospital. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) personnel worked at Mahaiyawa Elders' Home.
Troops of 112 Infantry Brigade cleaned Ridipana Elders' Home on 8 October, with 23 Vijayabahu Infantry Division aiding at Sujatha Children’s Home and 2 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) at Sambohi Elders' Home. On 9 October, 641 Infantry Brigade cleaned the Laggala Regional Hospital, and 4 SLLI worked at Lenadora Rajamaha Viharaya. Additionally, 1 SLRC supported cleaning at Senahasa Boys' Child Development Centre, and 642 Infantry Brigade cleaned the Kotagala Regional Hospital and Pabbatharamaya Temple.
Earlier, on 5 October 2024, troops from 3 SLSR assisted at Seetha Eliya and Boralanda temples, while on 9 October, they supported cleaning at Laxapana Regional Hospital in Nuwara Eliya.
