In line with the 75th Army Day, a special programme for the elderly individuals was organised by the 10 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) at the Urban Elders and Children's Home in Battaramulla on 10 October 2024, under the guidance of the Commander of the 144 Infantry Brigade and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 10 SLNG.
During the programme, 111 elderly individuals and 4 children were provided with lunch, followed by an entertainment session. In addition, stationery items were distributed to the children for their academic needs, and medicines were donated to the elderly individuals.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and staff of the Urban Elders and Children's Home participated in the programme.
