The troops of 1 Corps organised a ‘Vesak Zone’ in Iranamadu, Kilinochchi from 12 to 14 May 2025.
As part of the celebrations, an Ice Cream Dansala was also conducted, serving over 6,000 civilians.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Major General W.M.P.M Wijesuriya RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of 1 Corps. Religious leaders, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
