Training Programme for Disaster Relief Service Trainees Held

Army Training Command (ARTRAC), together with the National Disaster Relief Service Centre commenced a 5-day workshop on ‘Capacity Building and Out bound Training’ for members of the National Disaster Relief Centre on Monday (9).

A total of 96 trainees, together with 10 officials of the National Disaster Relief Centre are participating in the workshop.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Volunteer Force Training School (VFTS) conference hall on Monday (9) with the attendance of Major General Mano Perera, Commander, ARTRAC and Mr. P.H.A. Wimalaweera, Director, National Disaster Relief Service Centre.
