Trainees in New 'Shallow Water Patrolling ' Company of SLSR Pass out

Troops of the 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) who are instrumental in establishing the first-ever 'Shallow Water Patrolling Company of the Army' on the directions of the Commander of the Army had those who underwent training at the Special Force Combat Diving Training School in Nayaru passed out recently upon successful completion of its basic combat diving training course.

Out of all trainees of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Corps of Sri Lanka Artillery, Sri Lanka Light Infantry & Special Forces, Rifleman R.M.S.U Kumara was adjudged the Best Swimmer. Lieutenant O. M Yaddehige and Rifleman K.D.D Rajapaksa secured 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
