Timely Intervention of Troops Averts Tank Bund Split

15 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops of the 562 Brigade under the 56 Division of the Security Force HQ - Wanni timely intervened and repaired the Ariyankulam tank bund in Nochchikulama area which was damaged on Friday (26) due to heavy rains that prevailed in the last few days.

General Officer Commanding, 56 Division, Major General Laksiri Perera instructed the Commander, 562 Brigade, Brigadier A.M.S Premawansa to undertake the tasks with 15 (v) SLSR troops.

Villagers in Nochchikulam area also supported the troops engaged in the renovation of the tank bund.
