MULLATTIVU: HUMANITARIAN OPERATIONS that continue in WANNI region were further supported this morning (27) at about 6.10 a.m. when Air Force fighter craft shelled one more Tiger base in PIRAPPUVEDDUVAN, about 10 km north of ODDUSUDAN, MULLATTIVU where the terrorists train their special force cadres.
Following intelligence, fighter craft shelled the base accurately and struck a severe blow on them according to the pilots. Ground troops were forging ahead in the area at the time the air sortie was conducted.
