Tigers Lose Six-Fellow Terrorists in Morning Attack

MANNAR: THE LATEST BOUT of LTTE violence that erupted northwest of GIANT TANK, PARAPPAKANDAL in MANNAR Thursday (1) morning when a group of Tiger terrorists tried to storm the cleared areas deprived the LTTE of six of their cadres.

Armed Tiger terrorists after infiltrating jungle terrains early this morning (1) wanted to attack troops serving the area but the alert troops responded effectively killing six of them in the confrontations that ensued.

Ten valiant soldiers sustained minor injuries during the clashes. Some of them were admitted to hospital for treatment.

Those LTTE dead bodies have been recovered, according to confirmed reports.
