VAVUNIYA: THREE LTTE terrorists who had infiltrated the area west of OMANTHAI were shot dead by the alert troops serving in the area Sunday morning (19) around 6.00 a.m.
Later troops recovered the three LTTE dead bodies, two T-56 weapons, one I-com set, three T-56 magazines, three hundred and forty-two rounds of T-56 ammunition, forty-two Multi Purpose Machine Gun (MPMG) ammunitions, six hand grenades, two silver compass, one laser range finder, one Global Processing System (GPS), two cyanide capsules, one VAVUNIYA colour maps and two LTTE packs from the area.
