Troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C), alert to recurrent threat of landslides as advised by authorities took steps to evacuate 415 civilians of 124 families to safer places, including the Ganeshan Tamil School, Koslanda on Thursday (13).
The direction of Major General Mano Perera, Commander, SFHQ-C steps were taken in this regard.
Troops of 122 Brigade, 2 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME), 1 Gemunu Watch (GW) and Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) and cooks of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) perform admin duties at the relief centre.
