They Learn More About ‘Positive Thinking’

An awareness programme on ‘Positive Thinking’ took place on Saturday (25) at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) auditorium where Ms Rathna Pushpa Kumari, Director Social Solutions (Mind and Behaviour) of Children’s Skills Development Programme, delivered a lecture and educated the troops.

The programme had been organized by 7 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) troops with the intention of educating soldiers on effects of positive thinking and the importance of skill development for improvement of their life styles.

On the directions of Major General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J), the programme was launched with the participation of 50 officers and 300 other rankers who listened to the lecturer.

At the end of the event, Brigadier Aruna Muhandiram, Brigadier General Staff (BGS), SFHQ-J presented a memento to the lecturer as a symbol of gratitude.

Senior Staff Officers, officers and other rankers attended this educative programme.
