Your money and material donations for the upcoming Anuradhapura ‘Abimansala’, Wellness Resort for totally dependent War Heroes are now at work in full swing as photos down below speak.
Generosity, Thoughtfulness and Magnanimity, displayed by philanthropists towards this unparalleled project in post-war Sri Lanka is certainly incredible as well as indescribable.
David Peiris Motor Company Ltd offered its wholehearted support to the ‘Brave Hearts’ project, no sooner than it heard about this worthy cause. Mr and Mrs Sumith Cumarathunge, (Chairman and Managing Directress, David Peiris Motor Company Ltd) offered a colossal sum of Rs 10 million towards the erection of two of those Villas in the Wellness Resort for disable War Heroes. Those two Villas still under construction are seen below.

Mr Nimal Welgama, Chairman, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel (Rs. 3.5 Million) along with popular vocalist Ms Saheli Rochana Gamage (Rs. 1.5 Million) were generous enough to take charge of completion of one more Villa at a cost of Rs 5 miilion. Mrs Lakmini Welgama has reportedly given her blessings for this unique task. Here follows the partly completed Villa set apart on behalf of them.

Mr and Mrs Piyal Hennayaka of Hatton National Bank, HNB Towers were two more donors who were impressed with the proposed rest and recreation resort at Anuradhapura. They were quick to take charge of one more Villa in appreciation of the unique nature of the project. Their Villa under construction is seen below.

Mr Sherad Amalean, Managing Director, Mas Holdings Pvt. Ltd learnt about the project and spoke to the Commander of the Army and pledged his financial support for construction of a Villa in the complex. His generosity cost him Rs 5 million in connection with the construction. The Villa coming up on his behalf is depicted below.

Construction of Cottages that could accommodate family members in the complex as well has been undertaken by following philanthropists. Each cottage costs Rs 3.5 million. Following donors have undertaken the cost of a cottage separately.
Mr and Mrs Channa Palansuriya (World Trade Centre), Mr Duminda Ratnayake (Etisalat), Mr and Mrs Chandana Wickramaratne, Mr and Mrs Jagath Sumathipala (Sumathi Group) and Mr M.J.C Amarasuriya (Commercial Bank) have extended their generous support for these constructions.

The construction project, constantly supervised by Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) on the instructions of the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, is being carried out by Sri Lanka Engineer Service Regiment.
Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya and the prime fund-raiser for the project, SVAB presided by Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya extend their sincere gratitude to all donors for their generosity and magnanimity shown towards this worthy project up until now.
