WANNI: A MILITARY TRACTOR carrying water to troops was damaged Wednesday (31) morning around 11.00 a.m. in an LTTE claymore explosion in PAMPAIMADU, about 6.5 km northwest of VAVUNIYA causing injuries to the driving soldier.
The tractor was proceeding past the location when the claymore was triggered by terrorists with the help of a remote-controlled device. However, the soldier escaped death with minor injuries but the tractor was damaged.
