MANNAR: AS THE CONFRONTATIONS between the troops and Tiger terrorists in the northwest of GIANT TANK, MANNAR escalated by Thursday (01) noon after troops offered heavy resistance against LTTE\'s infiltration attempts.
The latest LTTE casualty figure increased to fifteen by Thursday (01) mid noon as the troops recovered more and more terrorist bodies from the affected area.
