WANNI: TWO TIGER TERRORISTS who tried to infiltrate into military held areas in PULLEKYARKULAM, VAVUNIYA were shot and killed by alert troops Saturday (5) around 10.40 a.m.
One soldier was injured and rushed to hospital for treatments.
Meanwhile, in KALLIKULAM the same day (5) troops confronted Tiger terrorist and killed three terrorists around 10.50 a.m.
Five more terrorists were feared in KUTINCHANKULAM Saturday (5) when troops launched an attack on infiltrating Tiger terrorists at about 12.55 p.m.
In KOKKUTHUDUWAI the same day (5) troops launched a concentrated artillery attack on an identified LTTE location deep in the area around 12.25 p.m.
Troops monitored LTTE communication and confirmed that three Tiger terrorists were severely injured in the attack.
