Temple Incumbent Praises Army for Help

Venerable Wadupola Rewatha Thero, Chief Incumbent at Sri Isipathanarama Viharaya in Berawila, Dolosbage in a letter to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crisanthe De Silva on June (2) praised the Army for their assistance given for restoration of the road passage for civilians affected by floods in Berawila area.

The immense service done by Army troops Commanded by Brigadier Indrajith Bandara, Brigade Commander, 112 Brigade serving under the Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-C) came forward and built a detour enabling the public to move about during the floods.

Army troops prepared the detour to enter Berawila village along the new road which was affected by recent landslides.

The Chief Incumbant at Isipathanarama Viharaya paid his sincere gratitude to the Commander of the Army and the Commander, Security Forces – Central (SF-C), Major General A.P De Z Wickramarathne and appreciated the troops for the great job they have done.
