KIDS at “Viru Kekulu” pre-school at Maning Town had a day of fun and sport skills when they gathered last Thursday (4) to conduct their annual Sports Meet at their school playground.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mrs. Gnana Balagalle, a former President, Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB). Mrs. Sherin Jayasinghe attended it as a guest of honour.
Tricycle races, obstacle clearing races, team games, fancy dress parade, physical training display and many more exciting and amusing items adorned the sports festival. Winners of those events were awarded special gifts and compliments by Mrs Jayasuriya at the conclusion of the event. Similarly, special competitions for pre-school teachers and parents added extra colour and fun to the occasion.
