With the participation of a large number of villagers, Troops of Task Force-3 under Security Force Headquarters-East celebrated Sinhala and Tamil New Year at the ‘Dharmasangiri’ ground in Aliadiwembu on Sunday (21).
A variety of traditional games and events were included in the day’s itinerary which ran into late night, blended with a mega musical show backed by Army Beat Group, entertained the villages and the soldiers.
Brigadier S.H.F.P Perera, General Officer Commanding, Task Force 3, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and many other senior officers were present at the occasion.
