With the objective of promoting bi-lingual skills of students at Marathodi Technical College, the 62 Division Headquarters conducts English and Sinhala language courses thrice a week at the college premises.
The three-hour long language training course on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday is attended by many students in Vavuniya North Divisional Secretariat and Marathodai Grama Niladhari Division.
The inauguration of the classes took place in early August, this year and more than 100 students are following these courses.
Brigadier G.J.L Waduge, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division has instructed 11 Gemunu Watch troops serving the area under 623 Brigade Headquarters to provide all necessary assistance for the smooth conduct of the courses.
