THE Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) on 30th December conducted a special coordinating conference to streamline ongoing scholarships and artificial limb donation projects sponsored by the SVAB.
Members of the SVAB executive committee, headed by Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President SVAB, attended the meeting. College mates of the Army Commander Mr Nagesh Wickramasooriya who is based in Australia and is also the Secretary to the “Viru Daru Diriya Fund” an organization of Sri Lankans in Australia, Mr. Channa Ramasinghe, President United Sri Lanka Association in New Zealand, Dr Chula Rajapaksa, Medical Specialist on Rheumatology and Mr Palitha de Silva, a Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law graced the occasion.
All organizations pledged support to continue their support for scholarship and artificial limb donation projects in the future, too.
